The goal of reflexology is to maintain balance in the body. Often the cause of an imbalance is stress where your body is desperately asking you to slow down. You may be finding it difficult to do this on your own and in need of a helping hand to start the winding down process. Similarly, your body may react to difficulties by making you feel slow and sluggish, in which case you may need a boost.
In reflexology we believe that certain points in the foot correspond to different parts of the body and by gently massaging them we are helping to ‘unblock’ as well as calm a nervous system which is running on overdrive.
