Pregnancy massage is a wonderful way of helping you feel more at home in your changing body. Whether you are in the first weeks or last few days or anywhere in between there will be many ways that massage can support and relieve you. From the second trimester you will be side lying on the treatment table with lots of supporting pillows and I will be working with what it is you feel you need, such as relief from:
lower back pain
hand and feet swelling
tight neck and shoulders
From 32 weeks we can start to think about baby's position and how to optimise it for birth. This may be using spinning babies techniques such as rebozo or self massage. At this point your birth partner can be involved by being shown these methods as well as massage for labour.
